The campaign

Before the doors open, and before they close. Two voicemails, one list.

  1. The list.

Your owner list from the DMS, or the slice the event is for: owners of one model line, customers whose loan or lease ends soon, everyone who bought in the last five years. Names, numbers and any field you want spoken.

  2. The timing.

A first voicemail three to five days before the event starts, and a reminder before the final weekend to anyone who hasn’t called. An event with an end date reads best when the date is spoken.

  3. The answer.

The callback rings the BDC or the sales desk, and the voice is someone they know, so the call starts as a conversation. Add a campaign line and a short text follows, so owners can reply to book a time.

The invitation

Three to five days before the event

“Hi Priya, it’s Jeff, general manager at Hillside Auto. Our year-end event starts this Thursday and runs through January 31st, with our best offers of the year on new and pre-owned. If your Rogue is ready for an upgrade, I’d like to show you what it’s worth. Call me back at 587-331-9189.”

Model-year launch

When the new model lands

“Hi Dan, it’s Jeff at Hillside Auto. The new Tacoma is on our lot, and this weekend we’re showing it to owners first. Bring yours in and we’ll have its appraisal ready. Call me back at 587-331-9189 to pick a time.”

Final weekend

Before the last weekend, to anyone who hasn’t called

“Hi Priya, it’s Jeff again at Hillside Auto. Our year-end event wraps up this weekend, and I wanted you to hear it from me before it does. If you’d like to see your options for the Rogue, call me back at 587-331-9189.”

Three to five days before the event starts, so owners can plan a visit, with a reminder before the final weekend to the ones who haven’t called. You pick the day and the start time when you build the campaign, inside calling hours.

Yes, or one take for everyone: the same script, recorded once. Both cost the same credits, one for each delivered voicemail, so the choice is about the message, not the price.

Usually the general manager or the dealer principal: an invitation reads as personal when it comes from the top. Every account includes three cloned voices, so the sales event can speak in one voice and the service reminders in another.

To everyone who gave your store permission to hear from it. You confirm consent for each list before a campaign can move on, and the team checks every campaign before it sends.

Every campaign follows the same rules: your customers’ permission comes first, a person on the team checks every campaign before it sends, voicemails go out only inside regulated calling hours, and an opt-out is honoured across your whole account. Nothing here is legal advice; for a question about your own list, ask the team. The rules themselves, in plain words: Are voicemail drops legal in Canada?

Yes. Add a campaign line to your account ($10 a month): one local number that signs your voicemails and, about seven to nine minutes after a delivered voicemail, sends a short text to mobiles only, between 9 AM and 9 PM their time. Replies land in your dashboard Inbox and your team answers from the same number. One STOP stops the texts and the voicemails together.

Nothing extra: it's included with every bundle. One credit per delivered voicemail covers the voicemail and its follow-up text, misses come back to your balance, and replies cost nothing. One text per voicemail, never a second.

Voicemail from Hillside Auto0:19

“Hi Sarah, it’s Heather at Hillside Auto. Your Equinox is coming due for its regular service: oil, filters and a proper once-over before road trip season. We’ve got openings next week, and it’s usually about an hour. Call me back at 587-331-9189 and I’ll get you booked in.”

A twenty-minute walk-through on Zoom: the dashboard, a campaign, your questions. Nothing is sent to your list.
