“Hi Sarah, it’s Heather at Hillside Auto. Your Equinox is coming due for its regular service — oil, filters, and a proper once-over before road-trip season. We’ve got openings next week, and…

The campaign

Two seasons, one list. Winters on in the fall, summers back in the spring.

  1. The list.

Export your service customers from your DMS: names, mobile numbers, vehicle and, if you keep it, whether their tires are in storage with you. Any system that exports a CSV works.

  2. The timing.

The fall voicemail goes out before the first cold snap, while the bay still has room, and the spring one once the roads are dry. Customers with tires in storage go first: their set is already on your shelf.

  3. The answer.

Every voicemail ends on the number you choose, so the call rings the service desk and the advisor books the bay. Add a campaign line and a short text follows each delivered voicemail, so customers can reply with a time instead of calling.

Fall, tires in storage

Before the first cold snap

“Hi Sarah, it’s Brett at Hillside Auto service. Your winter tires for the Equinox are here in storage, ready to go on. The bay books up fast once the first snow hits, so now’s the easy time. Call me back at 587-331-9189 and I’ll save you a spot.”

Fall, a new set

A week later, to customers without stored tires

“Hi Marcus, it’s Brett at Hillside Auto service. Winter’s on its way, and if your Silverado needs a set of winters this year, we can check your size and put them on in one visit. Call me back at 587-331-9189 and I’ll set it up.”

Spring swap

Once the roads are dry

“Hi Sarah, it’s Brett again at Hillside Auto. Spring’s here, so it’s time to get the summers back on your Equinox and the winters into storage until next year. Call me back at 587-331-9189 and we’ll find you a time.”

Questions

Asked by dealerships.

Ask us on a call

Before the first cold snap, while the bay still has room. Quebec requires winter tires from December 1 to March 15, and British Columbia requires them on most designated highways from October 1, so stores there often send earlier. A second voicemail a week later reaches the customers who haven’t booked.

Yes. Any column on your list can be spoken or used to split the list: customers with tires in storage get one script, everyone else another. You hear real takes before you approve, and a message for each customer costs the same credits as one take for everyone.

Your service advisor or the lead in the tire bay: someone customers hear from at the counter. Every account includes three cloned voices, and a library of house voices is always there too.

One credit for each delivered voicemail, from a prepaid bundle. A voicemail that doesn’t land comes back to your balance, and credits last 12 months. Send the fall list and the spring list from the same bundle.

Every campaign follows the same rules: your customers’ permission comes first, a person on the team checks every campaign before it sends, voicemails go out only inside regulated calling hours, and an opt-out is honoured across your whole account. Nothing here is legal advice; for a question about your own list, ask the team. The rules themselves, in plain words: Are voicemail drops legal in Canada?

Yes. Add a campaign line to your account ($10 a month): one local number that signs your voicemails and, about seven to nine minutes after a delivered voicemail, sends a short text to mobiles only, between 9 AM and 9 PM their time. Replies land in your dashboard Inbox and your team answers from the same number. One STOP stops the texts and the voicemails together.

Nothing extra: it's included with every bundle. One credit per delivered voicemail covers the voicemail and its follow-up text, misses come back to your balance, and replies cost nothing. One text per voicemail, never a second.
