Invite your team
Invite teammates by email as a Member or an Admin, see what they do to join, and resend, copy or revoke an invite.
Bring the people who run outreach with you into your workspace. Each person gets their own sign-in, and you choose their level: Member or Admin. You can change their level or remove them at any time. Billing stays with the account owner.
Before you start
You invite from the account owner's login or an Admin's. A Member sees the team, with "Only admins can invite" where the Invite button would be.
Your sign-in email is confirmed. Otherwise the invite is refused: "Verify your email first — tap the link we sent you, then invite your team."
Use each person's own email address. An address that already runs its own Call Guy account is refused: "That email already runs its own workspace — invite a different address of theirs."
Invite one person
Select Team in the sidebar.
Select Invite.
In Invite to your workspace, type their address in Email.
Under Access, choose Member or Admin. Every invite starts on Member. See Member or Admin.
Select Send invite.
What you see
the person in the list with the status Invited. The dialog's fine print says "The link works once and expires in seven days."
Invite several people at once
On Team, go to Invite your team under the list: "Each person you add gets an email with a link to join this workspace."
Type an address in Enter an email and select Add. Each address becomes a row.
Set each row's level to Member or Admin. Select the × on a row to take it out.
Select Send invite, or Send invites for more than one.
What you see
"Your teammate has been invited" or "Your teammates have been invited", and "We emailed them a link to join. It works once and expires in seven days." Select Invite more to add others.
An address that could not be invited stays on its row, with the reason. Learn about roles opens What each role can do.
You can also invite people during your first setup, in Invite teammates. Everyone invited there joins as a Member. See Set up your business.
What your teammate does
They open the email and select Join the workspace.
If they are new to The Call Guy, they fill in Your name, Choose a password (at least 10 characters) and Repeat it.
They tick two boxes. The first agrees to the terms of service and privacy policy, that campaign lists stay the business's own customers and leads, and that nothing sends until an authorized person approves it. The second reads "Yes — The Call Guy may contact me by email about this workspace and its services, including automated messages and reminders. I can opt out anytime."
They select Create your login and join.
If their address already has a sign-in, the page says "That email already has a Call Guy sign-in — sign in first and this page will finish the join." They select Sign in to accept, sign in, then select Join and your business's name.
What you see
on your Team page, their status turns Active. Team activity logs "Joined the team".
A link that has expired reads "This invite expired."
A link that was revoked reads "This invite was revoked."
An older link after a resend reads "A newer invite was sent."
Manage a waiting invite
On Team, select the invite's row.
Choose one:
Resend sends a fresh link. The old one stops working.
Copy link copies the invite link so you can send it yourself. It shows while the invite has not expired.
Revoke invite cancels it.
What you see
the panel shows the invite's status and Link works until, or Expired with the day it ended.
The Invited filter above the list shows only the people who have not joined yet.
A workspace holds up to 10 waiting invites at once. The next one is refused: "Ten invites are waiting — revoke one first."
Remove someone
On Team, select the person's row.
Select Remove from team.
Confirm with Remove access, or select Keep them.
What you see
"New sign-ins and server actions stop immediately; anything already open in their browser expires within the hour." Removing an Admin also stops the invites they sent. Their sign-in keeps existing, and you can invite them back any time.
Good to know
You can't change your own access or remove yourself. Ask another Admin.
The account owner's access can't be changed, and the account owner can't be removed.
Your team spends the workspace's credits. Everyone draws on the same balance, and only the account owner buys.
Team activity, beside Team, logs every invite, join and access change. See Team activity.
The Call Guy's support team can open your workspace to help, and every visit is logged. See When our support team is in your workspace.
A dealer group invites people across stores from its own Members page. See People and levels across stores.
On a dealer group's store, the group's owner and its Admins also see From your other stores under the list: people who already open another of the group's stores, added with Add and no new invite.
