"Verify your email" or "Add credits" stops me
New campaign shows a card instead of the builder. The card names what is missing - a verified email, credits, or a business in Canada - with the way to fix it.
Before the builder opens, three things must be true: your business is in Canada, your sign-in email is verified, and your balance holds credits. When one is missing, New campaign shows a card that names it, with one button to fix it.
The card says "Verify your email to open the builder"
Your sign-in email is not verified yet. A verified email proves that receipts and delivery reports can reach you. If you signed up with a code, your email was verified then: this card is for teammates and older accounts.
Find the email we sent you and tap its link.
No email? Open Settings, then Security.
Under Sign-in, your email shows Not verified. Select Resend.
Open the newest email from us and tap its link once.
What you see
a note, "Sent. Check your inbox." The link opens a page titled Email verified. Back on Security, your email reads Verified, and New campaign opens the builder on its own.
If the card also reads "Before your first campaign — step 1 of 2", credits are the step after.
If the link says "That link didn't work"
Each link works once, and it expires. Select Sign in on that page, then send a fresh link from Settings, Security, Resend.
If no email arrives
Check your spam or junk folder.
"One was sent a moment ago. Check your spam folder." means a link went out moments ago. Look for that one.
"The email didn't go. Try again in a minute." means it failed. Wait a minute and select Resend again.
Still nothing? Email contact@thecallguy.ca and a person will help.
The card says "Add credits to launch campaigns"
Your balance is empty. A campaign needs credits on the balance before it can be built.
Select Buy a bundle on the card. It opens Billing.
Pick a bundle and pay the invoice.
What you see
the builder opens once the credits are on your balance. Credits are spent only on delivered voicemails, misses come back automatically, and they never expire.
See Buy credits. If you paid and the credits haven't landed, see I paid, and my credits aren't there yet.
The card says "Ask the workspace owner to add credits"
You are on a teammate's seat and the balance is empty. Billing stays with the workspace owner. The builder opens here once the owner has added credits.
The card says "Campaigns open when we open up where you are"
The account is registered outside Canada. Campaigns and credits are for businesses in Canada. Email contact@thecallguy.ca and we'll let you know the moment we open up where you are. See Across Canada.
A campaign already running says Needs credits
A campaign never sends more voicemails than your balance can pay for. When the balance runs short partway through, the rest of the list waits, and the campaign shows Needs credits.
We email you the first time it happens: "Your campaign is waiting on credits", with how many have gone out and how many are waiting.
Buy a bundle. Once your balance can carry on, the tag leaves the campaign and the rest of the list goes out.
Good to know
The same checks guard cloning a voice, hearing a script read in a voice, and inviting a teammate to record their voice.
Buying credits needs a verified email too.
Every card has a way to email the team.
