Your password
Sign in with your password, reset a forgotten one, change it in Settings, and what makes a password refused.
You sign in to The Call Guy with your email and a password. Your password is yours alone: an Admin or the account owner can't see it or change it.
Go to the dashboard's sign-in page, Log in to The Call Guy, and select Continue with email.
Type your email address and select Continue with email.
Type your password on Enter your password and select Log in.
If two-step sign-in is on, type the code from your app on Two-factor check and select Verify and open my dashboard. See Two-step sign-in.
What you see
your dashboard, on the business or store you last had open.
Reset a forgotten password
On Enter your password, select Forgot your password?.
On Reset your password, type your email and select Email me a reset link.
Open the email and select its link. It brings you back to the sign-in page.
On Set a new password, type the new password and select Save and open my dashboard.
What you see
"Check your inbox" after step 2. The email arrives only if that address has a login.
If two-step sign-in is on, you enter your code before the new password is saved.
Change your password
Select your initials at the top right of the dashboard, then Security.
Under Password, select Change password.
Type your Current password.
Type a New password of at least 10 characters, and type it again in Confirm the new password.
Select Change password.
What you see
"Your password is changed."
What makes a password refused
Too short. A password needs at least 10 characters. The dialog says "Length beats complexity."
Seen in a data breach. "That password has appeared in a data breach — choose one you don't use anywhere else."
Too easy to guess. "That password is too easy to guess — choose a longer or less common one."
The same as now. "The new password matches your current one — pick a different one."
Too long. A very long password is refused, and the message gives the limit. Accents and emoji count for more than one character.
The current one is wrong. "That current password isn't right."
The two new ones differ. "The two new passwords don't match."
Good to know
The same rules apply when you create your login and when a teammate joins from an invite.
To change the email you sign in with, see Change your sign-in email.
