How credits work

A credit pays for one delivered voicemail. You buy credits before a campaign, a returned voicemail never costs one, and credits last 12 months.

A credit is what one delivered voicemail costs. You buy credits in bundles before a campaign, and every campaign draws from the same balance.

One balance for every campaign

  • You buy credits before a campaign. One balance pays for every voicemail.

  • The message mode never changes the price. "A message for each lead" and "one take for everyone" spend the same credits.

  • The dashboard calls them credits everywhere: on Billing, in the sidebar and on Home.

A credit is spent only on a delivered voicemail

  • One credit comes out for each voicemail that is delivered.

  • A voicemail that comes back Returned never costs a credit. The dashboard says it as "Misses come straight back."

  • Credits come out after delivery, not when a campaign is approved or starts sending. Every few minutes, the voicemails delivered since the last count are taken from your balance in one row under the campaign's name. A campaign that delivers over several hours can show several rows in your activity.

  • A campaign never sends more voicemails than your balance can pay for. The rest of its list waits, and once you top up, we send the rest. See When credits run short.

  • A campaign is submitted only with credits on your balance.

What delivered and returned mean for each voicemail is in Delivered, returned and to go.

Credits last 12 months

  • Credits stay on your balance for 12 months from the day you buy them. There is no monthly reset.

  • Credits bought before November 2, 2026 never expire.

  • They keep the rate of the bundle they were bought in.

The follow-up text is included

  • When a campaign sends a follow-up text after a delivered voicemail, the text is included with that voicemail.

  • One text per delivered voicemail, never a second.

  • Replies, and the conversation after them, cost nothing.

How the follow-up text works, and who gets one, is in The follow-up text.

Read the rule on your dashboard

  1. Open Billing in the sidebar. The Credits page opens.

  2. Select How credits work at the top of the page.

What you see

the dashboard's own help article, "How does billing work?": buy credits before a campaign, the bundles, how to pay the invoice, and where your invoices are.

The same rule sits above the bundles whenever you buy: "Prepaid credits, spent only on a delivered voicemail. Misses come straight back, and credits never expire." Manage on the Credits page also holds How credits work.

Good to know

  • Your terms say credits belong to the account they were bought for and can't be transferred or redeemed for cash, except where the law requires otherwise.

  • A Member or an Admin sees the same balance and activity as the account owner. Only the account owner buys credits. For a dealer group, see Billing across stores.

  • Nothing tops up on its own. You choose when to buy a bundle.

  • Bundle prices are before tax. GST or HST is added on the invoice. See Bundles and prices.
