Your business's time zone

Your campaigns go out on your business's time zone, and every time on your pages reads in it. Where to set it, who can change it, and the zones offered.

Your business's time zone is the one clock your campaigns run on. New campaigns go out on it, and every time on your dashboard pages reads in it. You set it once, in your business's settings.

Before you start

  • Only the owner or an Admin can set or change the time zone. A Member sees it, and "Only admins can change the business's settings." See Member or Admin.

Set or change it in Settings

  1. Open Settings, the gear in the top bar.

  2. Select your business's name at the top of the settings list.

  3. Find Time zone: "New campaigns go out on it, and every time on your pages reads in it."

  4. Select Edit, or Add when none is set.

  5. Choose the zone in Time zone, then select Save.

What you see

A message says "Time zone updated." The row shows the zone the way people say it, for example "Mountain Time".

Set it from the builder

If your business has no time zone yet, the builder's When step asks for it.

  1. In Your business's time zone, choose your zone.

What you see

"Time zone updated." The step carries on with the zone, and it is saved to your business's settings.

A Member is asked instead to have an admin set it in Settings, then come back. The draft is kept.

The zones offered

The zones are Canada's: Newfoundland, Atlantic, Eastern, Central, Saskatchewan, Mountain, Pacific and Yukon. Each is named the way people say it, never by a city.

British Columbia and Alberta stop changing their clocks on November 1, 2026. The dashboard keeps the right local time on both sides of that day. From that day, Alberta's zone is called Alberta Time.

How your campaigns use it

  • A campaign's start time is on your business's clock. A 10:00 AM start is 10:00 AM in your zone for everyone on the list.

  • Your contacts' own time zones are not looked up. If some of your contacts live in another time zone, pick start times that suit them too.

  • The When step names your zone under the start: "Times are" your zone, "your business's time zone." Change it in Settings takes you to the setting.

See Choose the day and the start time.

Good to know

  • A time zone once set can be changed, never cleared.

  • In a dealer group, each store sets its own time zone in its own settings. See Dealer groups.

  • Your setup checklist shows Set your time zone when setup was finished without one. See Your setup checklist.

  • The first-run setup asks for the zone too, as Business time zone. See Set up your business.
