Switch between stores

Use the pill at the top of the sidebar to open another store or All stores, on a desk or a phone, and know what follows you.

The pill at the top of the sidebar shows the store you have open, or your group's name when All stores is open. Its menu is the only switch: All stores is its first row under the group, then every store you can open.

Open the store menu

  1. Select the pill at the top of the sidebar.

What you see

your group's name, "Dealer group" with the number of stores, and your level in the group (Owner, Admin or Member). Then the open store's own rows under its name: Settings, Team, Business profile, Billing and Credits. Then All stores and each store you can open, with a tick on the open one. Then Add a store (the group's owner only), Invite a teammate (when you manage the open store's team), Talk to a person and Log out.

A store whose setup isn't finished says Finish setup beside its name.

Switch to another store

  1. Open the store menu.

  2. Select the store.

What you see

the store's name moves into the pill, then the store opens on the same page you were on, and a message says "You've switched to" and the store's name. From a campaign's own page you land on that store's Campaigns list. From an All stores page you land on the store's own version of it.

If a switch can't go through, the page stays as it was and a message says why.

Open All stores

  1. Open the store menu.

  2. Select All stores.

What you see

the group's home, with every store in one table. See All stores at a glance.

Find a store in a long list

When your group has more than 6 stores, a Find a store field heads the menu.

  1. Open the store menu and type part of the store's name.

  2. Select the store, or press Enter to open the first one found.

What you see

a line with how many of your stores match, or "No store matches" when nothing does.

On a phone

  1. Select Open the sidebar at the top left.

  2. Select the pill at the top of the sidebar.

  3. Select a store, or All stores.

On a phone, the store menu opens as a sheet from the bottom of the screen. To close it without switching, tap outside it or drag it down.

From your account menu

Your account menu also lists your other stores, each with your level there. Your own store reads Yours.

  1. Select your initials at the top right.

  2. Select a store in the list under Terms.

What you see

a "Switching to" window with the store's name, then that store's Home.

What follows you when you switch

  • Your choice is kept on your login. Every tab and device you're signed in on opens the same store. A tab that was showing another store opens again on the new one, with the message "… is open now. It was opened in another tab or on another device."

  • A campaign draft belongs to its store. A draft started in one store stays with that store. Another store's builder never opens it.

  • Your profile goes with you. Your name, mobile and sign-in are the same in every store. Alerts are chosen store by store.

  • Your level is the store's. In a dealer group, your level can differ from store to store. When you switch, the dashboard follows your level on the store you open: on a store where you're Admin you can invite its team and change its settings, and on a store where you're Member you can't.

  • The browser tab names the store, for example "Campaigns ·" followed by the store's name, or "All stores".

Keyboard

  • Up and Down move through the rows. Home and End jump to the first and last.

  • With the Find a store field showing, typing goes to the search.

  • Escape closes the menu.

Good to know

  • The menu lists only the stores you can open: your own, and the ones you hold a seat on.

  • A seat you hold on a business outside your group is listed apart, under Other accounts, with your level there. Switching to it works the same way. That business keeps its own credits and its own billing: nothing is shared with your group.

  • A business that isn't in a group has the same pill. Its menu holds that business's own rows only.

  • If your access to a store ends while it's open, the dashboard opens another store you can open and says "… is open now. Your access to the other store has ended."
