The sign-up code didn't arrive

When you sign up at /start, we email a six-digit code to prove the address is yours. The account is made only after the code checks out. Here is what to do when the code does not arrive or is not accepted.

The code didn't arrive

1. Check your spam or junk folder, and the address shown on Check your email.

2. Under the code field, wait for the countdown in "Didn't get it? Send a new one in", then select Send a new code.

3. Enter the newest code.

• The address was wrong? Select Back to signup and start again with the right one. The code goes to the address you typed.

• "The code didn't go out — try again, or email contact@thecallguy.ca." Try again in a moment.

• "That's a few tries in a row — give it an hour, or email contact@thecallguy.ca." Too many codes were asked for in a row. Wait, or write to us.

The code is refused

"Your code has timed out. Continue to get a new one."

A checked code holds for a while, then it expires. If the last screens took too long, you are taken back to your email. Select Continue with email to get a new code, and go on from there.

"You already have an account"

That email already has a login. Select Log in and sign in instead. Forgot the password? See Can't sign in.

Good to know

• The security check can also refuse: "The security check didn't go through — reload the page and try again, or email contact@thecallguy.ca."
