When credits run short
A campaign never sends more voicemails than your wallet can pay for. What the builder tells you before you submit, what happens while a campaign sends, and how it carries on after a top-up.
A campaign sends only what your wallet can pay for. If the wallet runs short, the rest of the list waits, you get an email, and the campaign carries on once you top up. Nothing on the list is lost.
Before you submit
The builder tells you on Review when your wallet is short of the list.
On Review, read Credits: This campaign, In your wallet and After.
What you see
A notice: "Your wallet is" a number of credits "short of this list." It says what happens if you submit now: the campaign sends what the wallet covers, and the rest go out after a top-up. Its button is Buy credits.
To top up first, select Buy credits. Billing opens on Choose a bundle, with the 3,000 bundle chosen. Pick a bundle and pay its invoice. Your draft stays saved, and Review opens again when you come back. See Buy credits.
Or submit now. The campaign is reviewed as usual and sends what your wallet covers.
A team seat sees the shortfall and is told to ask the workspace owner, who buys the credits.
With an empty wallet the builder does not open at all: it shows Add credits to launch campaigns, or Ask the workspace owner to add credits for a team seat.
While a campaign sends
Each time voicemails are handed off to be sent, the campaign sends only what your wallet can pay for. The earliest contacts on your list keep their turn.
When contacts are left waiting, the campaign shows Needs credits beside its status in the list, and in the Needs you view.
You get an email, "Your campaign is waiting on credits", with the campaign's name, how many voicemails went out so far, and how many contacts are waiting.
Top up and carry on
Select Top up credits in the email, or open Billing in the sidebar. The workspace owner buys credits.
Buy a bundle and pay the invoice. See Buy credits.
Once the credits land, the rest of the list is sent.
What you see
The Needs credits tag leaves the campaign once your wallet can carry it on.
Good to know
A credit is spent only on a delivered voicemail. A voicemail that comes back costs nothing, and its credit goes back to your balance.
Credits last 12 months from purchase.
The email goes to your account's email. For a store added to a dealer group without an email of its own, it goes to its Store email, on the store's page in Settings, or to the group owner's email until one is added.
In a dealer group that shares one balance, the store that holds the group's credits gets an email too, and buys the top-up. See Billing across stores.
Your balance and every credit that moved are on Billing. See Your balance and credit activity.
