Confirm your email

Why your sign-in email must be confirmed, what waits until it is, and how to send yourself a fresh link.

Your sign-in email is where receipts, campaign confirmations and delivery reports go, so it must be confirmed before anything that costs money can start. A new account is confirmed by the code you typed at sign-up, so most people never need this page.

When you need it

You need to confirm your email when your setup checklist shows Confirm your email, or when a page says your email is not verified yet. It happens to a login whose email was never confirmed, for example an account made before sign-up asked for a code.

Until your email is confirmed, these wait:

  • buying credits;

  • getting a campaign line number;

  • building and sending a campaign;

  • recording a voice, inviting a teammate to record theirs, and hearing a take;

  • inviting your team;

  • the assistant.

  1. Select Confirm your email in your setup checklist. Or open Settings, then Security.

  2. Under Sign-in, find your email. Its status reads Not verified.

  3. Select Resend on that row.

What you see

the row's action reads Sent, and a note says "Sent. Check your inbox."

  1. Open the email from The Call Guy and select its button.

What you see

Email verified, with "Let's finish setting up. Receipts, campaign confirmations and delivery reports will reach" your address "from now on." Select Continue to carry on with your setup.

Your checklist ticks Confirm your email, and the Sign-in row reads Verified.

What you see

That link didn't work, with "It may have expired." and Sign in.

The link works once, and only for a limited time. Sign in and send a fresh one from Settings, Security.

  • If one was sent a moment ago, the note says "One was sent a moment ago. Check your spam folder."

  • If your email is already confirmed, the note says "Your email is already verified."

  • If the page says Something went sideways, give it a minute and open the link again, or reply to the email and a person will sort it.

Other places that ask

  • New campaign shows Verify your email to open the builder, with Open settings. The builder opens on its own once it is done.

  • When you buy credits, the refusal offers Resend the email. Once you have confirmed, select I've confirmed my email to carry on.

  • When you get a number, the page says Confirm your email to claim a number., with I've confirmed my email to carry on.

  • The assistant answers with a note asking you to verify your email first.

Good to know

  • Your sign-in email cannot be changed from the dashboard. See Change your sign-in email.

  • A teammate who joins from an invite has their email confirmed by the invite link itself.
