Sender details
Your legal business name and mailing address, which end every follow-up text. Add them once on the line's settings before your first follow-up text can go.
Canadian law (CASL) asks every marketing text to name who sends it and where they are. Your sender details are that name and address. The line adds them to the end of every follow-up text, so you type them once.
Before you start
You need a campaign line. See Get a number.
The workspace owner and admins add and change sender details. A member reads them.
The Getting started task Say who your texts are from opens this setting.
Add your sender details
Open Campaign line in the sidebar.
Select the Calls and texts tab.
In Texts, find Sender details and select Add (or Edit once they are saved).
Fill in Legal business name, Address, City, Province or territory and Postal code. These five are required.
If you like, fill in Address line 2 (optional), Phone (optional), Email (optional) and Website (optional).
Select Save sender details.
What you see
the Sender details row shows the name and address. Until they are saved, the row wears the tag Needed before follow-up texts.
Where they show
Every follow-up text ends with your business name, your mailing address, your campaign line's number and "Reply STOP to opt out." The name in the text is the business name from your profile, as the Legal business name field's hint says; the legal name stands in only when your profile has none. See The follow-up text.
Leads to your CRM name your store with this mailing address and, when you add one, the email from Email (optional). See Send leads to your CRM.
Settings: your store's page shows its Province "From your sender details". See Your profile and your store's details.
Good to know
Until your sender details are saved, the campaign builder says "A text needs your sender details, the legal name and the mailing address." with Add them in your line's settings, and a campaign with the text on cannot be submitted.
Each field's hint in the window says where it is used.
