Why a campaign is on hold
A campaign on hold is approved and held by our team. Where to read the reason, how to ask about it, and what happens when the hold is lifted.
A campaign reads On hold when our team has approved it and is holding it before it is scheduled. It happens when something the campaign needs is still pending, such as a registration with a carrier or a word from you. Our team writes the reason on the campaign's page.
Read the reason
Open Campaigns in the sidebar. A campaign on hold reads On hold in amber, and shows in the Needs you view.
Select the campaign's name to open its page.
What you see
A card with 0 of the list dialed and "Nothing sends while it is held." Then four rows: Status "Held", By "Our team", Why with our reason, and What lifts it: "Our team lifts it once that is settled."
In the list, selecting the row of a campaign on hold opens the same facts in a side panel, with Ask the team and Open the campaign.
Ask the team about it
On the campaign's page, select Ask the team.
Help opens with a note to the team, your question already written: what is needed to lift the hold.
Add anything the team should know, then select Send it to the team.
When the hold is lifted
Our team lifts the hold once the reason is settled. The campaign goes back to In production, then reads Scheduled once our team sets its start. See What each status means.
Good to know
Nothing is sent and nothing is spent while a campaign is on hold. A credit is spent only on a delivered voicemail.
The recordings can still be made and checked while the campaign is held.
A hold is our team's. You cannot place or lift one from the dashboard.
